Console name is invalid (but isn't)

We've got a new(ish) Ion that we recently started using the iRFR app to remote control during work and focus calls. The only issue is that iRFR requires the console's name as the access password. Our console defaults to 'OEM' and a string of numbers any time the console is powered or logged off, and literally nothing I input into this field is considered valid by the configuration utility. The dialog box informing me so says I can only use upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes, so why is 'Stage-Ion' an invalid name and why won't it remember it?

My guess is that this is just a bug, but I'm curious as to whether there's already a fix to this or whether it just hasn't been patched yet?

This should help with connecting to the console via the iRFR. As to console name- the name can be changed in the configuration utility. Under display- click on exit ION. You will need to confirm that you wish to do this.On the configuration utility screen press settings. Then click general. The very top item is console name. You can edit this field and make it the name you would like. You will have to accept changes and I do believe restart the console for changes to take place.

Hope this helps. I'll leave you with one networking note- make sure to check the IP address table in the how to set up your wireless wiki. It will come in handy to avoid IP address conflicts.
