Has anyone else experienced problems when recording groups with conventionals? Evey time I record a group, extra random channels get recorded too. I was thinking that maybe there must be somekind of default that's doing it, but it's different numbers each time. Really frustrating.

Just to check... You are sure that there are no other active channels on the console before you record your group (this means Subs, Cues, another person using an iRFR/RFR)

If you do a selective record

<Chan> + <Chan> (and so on) [Record] [Group] [#] [Enter]

do you still get random channels?

Just to clarify, recording groups follows all standard recording rules.

Record Group n Enter - will record any channels into the group that are not at the default 'grey" values.

Record Only Group n Enter - will record any channels with manual values into the target group.

Channel List Record Group n Enter - will record channel list into the target group.
