If you are (still) using a Power PC Mac, how are you using it?
This is a complicated question! (I also get the impression that there's something wrong with still using a PPC! The later generations of PPC are still extremely competent machines.)
Currently, I only use my PPC for OLE as the building I use that for has an Element (and therefore no use for a (full) client). I have thought about taking the PPC to that theatre for use as a remote client so that I can see what the board is doing while the oppo sits elsewhere in the theatre.
In other buildings, I suppose they are more PC based - and if using a Mac they'd have the Intel Macs.
However, I would find that to have a PPC OLE and Client available will be of longer-term benefit to freelance designers/programmers. The basic answer I think you are looking for is that I don't plan to replace my PPC whilst it is working.
Incidentally, have ETC ever had the thought of making a Posix-compatible system?
