Can I do this?

First off, I don't own a ION.  But I do have the offline software

 Can I use my offline software to create show files, until I get a ION?   --linked to second question--

Can I use my Capture Polar program to see the offline Ion?    like the smartsoft software

 If so, Can you please direct me to a page or let me know.

Off Ion topic.. Can I use Capture to do the same with expression offline for the Insight 3? if its possible from the above second question.

    1. Yes, it's very simple to create offline show files and then save them to a flash drive and then open them on the console.

    3.  Finally, to your last question, I'm not sure if you can do offline visualization on the expression as I don't believe it gives off EDMX, sACN, Art-Net, or Avab UDP network levels.

    Ok, i had gotten it to work for about 5 min, then it was flickering the lights like stated. I only had  BSR E1.31 but not ETCNET2. Now something went wrong and I lost it. Tried changing it to my wireless network, but nothing.

     Does it matter if I stop my network connection via firewall?

    And why does the ETCNET2 not connect?

     

    Also, I'm using 2 universes, 1 for theater lights and 1 for moving lights. On the Universe Tab on Capture, 2.1-512 (Movers) show nothing, only 1.1-512

    One last thing, When exiting the Capture program and it asks if I want to save changes, do I? And do I load that new saved file back up? Or do I need to change these settings every time I use the offline program?
