Eos [ABOUT] function

Hi all,

I am currently using an Eos system, with an Eos for a backup console. Recently during a show, I required some information about a specific channel. To obtain this information I used the [ABOUT] channel {Usage}. To my suprise, I found that this seemed to prevent the [GO] button (and I assume other functions on the console) from functioning. Immediately I turned to my backup console to resume the show/pending cues, and found that the backup [GO] button was also not executing cues.

After a period of time, (I assume when the {Usage} fields had populated) the console advanced on the 2 cues that I had pushed [GO] on (that did not execute at the time) and functionally returned to the [GO] button and i could resume the show.

I did know that the {Usage} field(s) would take time to populate, I did not think that it would remove funcionality from the [GO] button or other playback functions.

Is this a known problem? Is it a system resource issue?

Cheers

Tolli!
