EOS Family Offline Not Communicating with Visualizer, Please Help

Hi All,

I'm trying to get the eos family offline software to talk to capture polar. Eos offline is running on a mac, capture polar on windows 7. I have ticked the enable output box in the eos offline settings however when i start capture the external universes doe not show up. I know the two computers can communicate, I'm running synergy to switch between the two. I followed the instructions on the wiki here but its still won't work. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm currently having a similar issue. I'm running Eos offline and WYSIWYG on the same machine (Windows 7) trying to visualize. When in Net2Util I don't see any output. I've used NicPicker and made sure the patch in offline is set to EDMX.

Hi all,

This is a known issue in 1.9.6 -- the workaround would be to start as Client, exit, then start as Offline. We are working on a solution for this. (RND 0012451)

The key thing to check is if your About screen shows an IP address -- you can check this in offline by pressing Ctrl+/. If you have an IP address shown there, it should be working. If not, you'll need to do the above process.

Hi Hans,

Thanks that indeed worked for me on a Windows box. Do you know if there is do you know if there is a workaround for the mac offline version?

Hans,

This did not work for me. I've been able to see an IP all along. I'm trying to make heads or tails of what I'm seeing here. It looks like the OLE is seeing Net2Util, but Net2Util does not see the OLE.
