wish list for future versions

1. when pressing channel <x> full, no need to press enter

2. board is web-enabled and will auto-update its software

3. back lit keys

 

having fun, preparing for our first show using the board.

  • I would like to have the ability to have a text page for a cuelist. This would enable me to to document any special notes for the show. Each piece in our repertoire has its own cuelist and now that I am becoming more adventurous in programming there are specific things appearing in cuelists which are not immediately obvious as to what they do. Either a general 'notes' page or a facilty where you could attach a note to a cue and have an indication that more information was available. By the time you've tried to shorthand something to fit in the label box you can't understand what it means anyway.

    I would like to see a Select active on the ION.
     

    I was thinking that  the Select Last Button work in such a way that if you hit it once, it selects the last fixture selection, but if you hit it twice in rapid succession, it selects the active fixtures on the screen.  This is much the same way that if you hit the 'Time' button once, it is the up time, a second time and it's the down time, a third time and it's the focus time and so on....

     

    Just a thought.

    I'd find it very useful if there was a way to latch the rate wheel on.  Quite often if I'm running through cues and there is several cues with long fades, I like to be able to push them through, and it gets a bit frustrating having to keep pressing [rate][load].

    Is there a way to do this already?

    There is currently no latch for putting the level wheel into rate mode.  It is something we will look into...I agree that it can be frustrating.

    Being able to latch the level wheel into rate mode on ion would be smashing, as would being able to latch the rate wheel to remain in rate mode on the eos.
