Ion RPU won't boot/connect to console

Hello,

I am a relatively new programmer so please bear with me if this is a stupid question.

I am attempting to connect a R V I as an RPU client to my Ion (master.) At present, the RVI won't even boot up much less connect to the console. I have tried it hard-wired into the theatre's network, routed with the console, and into the console itself. In each of these scenarios I get the same error message (but a different one if I don't have the e-net cable plugged in at all.) The boot screen reads:

"Client MAC ADDR: 00 00 50 28 63 A5 GUID: FFFFFFFF FFFF FFFF FFFFFFFFFFFF

PXE-E53: No Boot Filename Recieved

PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent

DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"

I am unsure if this means there is something wrong with the RVI itself, or if it has something to do with the way the console is networked. I have tried altering the network settings on the console any number of ways: turning on DCHP, changing to a router, even eventually turning them off altogether. Nothing has changed this error message once. (However now I am stuck in offline mode on the console with no idea how to get the Network option back in the CIA where it was.)

Is there a setting I am missing on the console either in Primary or in the shell? Or is does it sound like there is something wrong with the RVI? (It wouldn't be the first time the rental company sent us bad equipment.) Like I said, I am an inexperienced programmer so any thoughts on how to proceed from here would be most helpful. Thanks!
