Best wireless router for now and future

Hello All,

Just picked up an iPad (sweet!) and am looking forward to purchasing the irfr app!  I need to purchase wireless routers for both my EOS and ION and wondering if there is a preferred brand / model or if there are just specific specs I should make sure it has.  As stated, I will definitely be using with the irfr and hopefully try wirelessly connecting my laptop as well!

Thanks in advance for the help,

Pat

  • My Airport Express works great for my iPad and iPod Touch remotes, but I've never gotten it to work reliably with my Mac running the Client software.  I've had problems on every one of the 5 or so different networks I've tried it on.  The friendly people at ETC have suggested that I should try a "dumber" wireless access point from Cisco or Linksys, but I haven't been able to try that yet.
