Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to program a focus pallet to a fader without any other attributes, such as color or gobo ect... For on the fly use.
Thanks for all your help in advance!

Or put only the palettes that you want on stage and use "record only."
Or build the sub in blind.

Thanks for the quick response!
I have tried both of those ways... and It works, but it takes the attributes with it. When I go to use the subfader it takes away any gobos/colors the fixture already has running and goes to white or it turns the intensity to 0.... All i am wanting it to do is just move the light... :/ any suggestions?
I'm not sure you can copy straight from a palette to a sub, unless you're in blind, and even then I'm not so sure. But one of your issues is the unfiltered record. You're basically saying "record the focus information and everything else at zero" into sub 75, instead of "just record the focus".
Try this:
<channel selection> [Focus pallet] [200] [Enter]
Then {Select Active} [Focus] [Record][Sub] 75 [Enter]
You can post [Focus] by either clicking on the entry in the CIA or tapping the Focus encoder.
You can copy a palette/preset to a sub, but when you do that, the reference is not held - it is copying the data.
IP 3 copy to Sub 4 Enter.
