Exporting Cue List as CSV

So, I hope this isn't a stupid question, but what is supposed to happen when you export CSV with Cues?

I'm looking to get a CSV of just the cue list information similar to what the Print to PDF spits out, but in an editable format.

When I export Cues as CSV, I just get an empty file. I've tried on several show files, always with the same result. Is it just my OLE being finicky?

Thanks

  • You need to select Cues and Targets.

I actually think the layout could be a little more clear.  Target types should ideally be grouped together, then Targets (lists the number for each target and its info) and Levels would be in another group as they select what information about each target to export.

As a side note, Excel's pivot table features are really useful when dealing with the csv data.  For example, I can get cue levels to arrange in a view not unlike blind-spreadsheet.
