ETC promised me a MagicSheet at the end of 2009, should i wait 12 month once more, or should I buy another console? I become more and more an EOS-Hater because ETC put all the things that we want and need on an endless list. When does the EOS do all the things on the ominous "list", 2021 or later ???

I completely agree, I mean it's not they've added Fan, a complete overhaul of Update, Pixel Mapping etc etc in the last 18 months in version 1.8, 1.9, 1.9.5 (I hope the British sense of honour translates here?)!

I can assure you no Eos developer is sitting around doing nothing all day and they're trying to get as much done as soon as possible but unfortunately in every software release somethings get push back and in the bigger picture moving tombstones around gets  pushed back for things like pixel mapping!

Hey Folks, anything happened on that topic since August 2011?
I´m very excited about it but can´t find anything in the release notes. Only the spec sheet says: "User configurable topographical channel views" but it does already in 2009.

Would be great and make everybodies lifes so much easier... (hope so)

Thx for any information if there is anything coming up or not ´cause I told my colleague there would be something like that and now I´m getting afraid I promised to much... ?

Any forecast when it is to come???

Oh, I think its best not to do that (sorry).    As Nick pointed out, development schedules are notoriously fluid.   Field issues take priority and some features take longer during the cycle than others.  GUI-heavy projects in particular tend to be more organic in their design and implementation, with a longer alpha/beta period while the feature matures.  

Can we just state that we are actively working on this?  And we will let you all know when we know more?

OK, seriously, I think that most users understand that and (like me) prefer to get a well working function even if they have to wait a little longer.
It´s just sad that the function is promoted since 3 years but not yet come.

On the other Hand: So what? Something we can be looking forward to, right?
