Strand 500 to Ion

Hi Ive got a strand SSF file that has gone through show port, and I have all of the appropriate data, but Ion does not seem to like any of the patch information. The show channels show up when sorted, but none of the channels are patched. Ive tried this on a console and on the OLE. There are devices like Movers, CXI's, Rotators and other DMX effects, but it will not even transfer conventional dimmer channels.

Any Ideas?

Hi,

Could you please email the Strand *.alq file to service@etcconnect.com and title it "For Ann Foster / RND". Include the version of Showport you are using and the version of the Ion software. It would also help if you could tell me a few of the fixtures patched, such as "Channel 10 is a CXI, 15 is a VL1000".

Strand files have no text that give any hints to the fixture types, so there is a lot of guesswork to the import. I will take a look and see if I can find out why the patch isn't working.
