I'm trying to write a simple random chase effect with might be written in the cue. For now the LD just wants to be able to fade it up and down on a sub. This is only for generic lamps.
Have created the a effect but this leads me to 2 questions. How to I apply it to a sub so that the intensity fades is controlled by the fader? I have recorded the effect to the sub and set the sub to Additive and Int Master. Set the levels at full in the sub. This has the result in the channels coming up at full then as the effect takes effect the channels are zeroed and become part of the chase.
2nd Question, is it possible just to create an effect and control the speed / rate live? The rate just seems wheel does not seem to effect the rate as it's always set to 100.
Any help would be really appreciated!
