Duel Playback

Hi All

Is there a way that anyone knows of of playing back 2 cue lists together on the ION without a fader wing?  I.e cue list one on the 2 faders manual and cuelist 2 on the GO button?

Cheers

  • The master playback pair can only support one cue list in it at a time.

    That said:

    - A cue can execute another cue (they fire at the same time).  The syntax is <Cue> x <Execute> <Cue> x/x

    - A cue can link to cue in another cue list, thus moving the playback from controlling one list to the next.  The syntax is <Cue> x <Link> <Cue> x/x.  You can link back, around, or however you see fit.

    - A cue list can execute another whole cue list.  The syntax is <Cue> x <Execute> <Cue> x </>.  It will fire the cue in the other list at the same time as long as the cue numbers match (useful when combining cue lists that separate programmers were working with, or when you have need of a specialized cue list).

    - You can open up a Virtual Fader module to use instead of a fader wing, and use that for control.  Its buttons are identical, but you need a mouse or touchscreen to use it.
