ION & Celador LED fixtures

We just purchased our Ion console this past week. We ran a show this past week-end using conventional S4's & Selador LED fixtures for back light and cyc. However, when we put scenes on subs, we ran into problems. If I had a Celador sub up and brought up another sub with S4's on it, the sub would change the attributes of the LED fixtures and they would all change to white. I'm sure it's some type of setting we're missing as we are new to this board but help is very much appreciated. The Seladors were originally set up on the console by selecting them from the fixture list. Thanks.

Do all your Subs contain ONLY the channels you wish to control in them?

My guess would be that the LED fixtures were in there HOME values (i.e O/W)

A Quick fix would be to go though your S4 subs in blind. (Double press of the sub button will get you to sub blind and pressing edit softkey will allow you to see what on the sub)

In the sub select the LED fixtures and put them @ ENTER, this will remove them from your s4 subs.

Some homework:

Have a look though the manual at the SUB types etc.

Have look at FILTER in the manual too. You can Filter which parameters are recorded.

This is can be useful to stop Non Intercity Parameters being recorded in to subs and cues.

Selective Recording will also help only record the channels you want into a record target.
