I just updated my Ion with the latest 1.9 software from ETC's download page for the console and have the following two issues/questions:
1. Does that update package also update XPe as well as the desk software or is that a separate procedure using the same update file?
2. As my update appears to have worked (the new version numbers appear where they should in the software once I boot the desk), I went then to update the firmware per the release notes in suctions. However, once I get to the stage where I'm to select the component and click update, I can select the component, but the Update button never highlights. I thought that might be due to having not yet installed the new Pixel software, but after doing that the Update button will still not highlight.
I trust this will not be too difficult to figure out; thank you for all your responses.
