Update Part thru Part

Hello,

Have tried a couple of times in the last week to update part thru part for a few things but I get a syntax error thrown back at me.

Can anyone tell me what the command should be?

What are you trying to acheive?

I'm having trouble thinking of a context where that might be valid or desirable.

Agree with Richard, I don't really understand what you're trying to do. Are you trying ti update within a single cue (Cue 5 Part 1 thru Cue 5 Part 8)? Or a range of parts spread among other cues (Cue 5 Part 1 thru Cue 7 Part 2)? Either way, I can't see why you'd ever need to do this. A parameter can only have data recorded in one part of a multipart cue, so I'm not sure what Update Thru Part would give you that Update doesn't. Care to elaborate?
