Channel paging on Eos and Ion became available in version 1.9.  It is documented in the 1.9 Operations Manual Supplement (page 7), which has been bundled with the 1.9.5 and 1.8 supplements here: http://www.etcconnect.com/docs/docs_downloads/manuals/Eos_Family_v1.9.5_Operations_Manual_Supplement_revA.pdf
