selecting and ordering in patch

Hi there,

I was thinking, wouldn't it be handy to have to have the view-chans flexi-mode in patch as well? so i can isolate a specific group of channels, get them in one screen (wich are not in nummeric order) and patch them.
for instance:i put all the house lights (witch i have to repatch every day while touring) in group 999:
while in patch, id like to have that group in one screen and patch them one by one without losing the layout i'm working in...

another way to get there would be by query and text (is in: House patch) but query doesn't seem to work in patch.

thanks for Your time

sincerely,

Mart

  • Hi Mart!

I can toggle flexi-mode from all channels / patched channels and selected channels in patch (EOS 1.9.6) .

Also query works fine in patch. Witch release are you working with?

  • Hi Reinhard,

Your are absolutely right. (so i was wrong) on the query thing, (i tried it in the ofline editor on the virtual keyboard... pressing the hotkey (Y) did the trick. stupid me.
on the flexi mode; i can toggle the modes as well but what id really like is a sort of 'frozen' selected channels view.

    so i select the group that i need, (f.i. ch. 1, 44, 66, 99)
en then patch ch 1, ch. 44 and so on. If i try to do that now, the ION (offcourse) will deselect all channels but ch. 1. while would really like to keep the other channels on my screen as well.

    Know what i mean?

    thanks for yer time,

    Mart
