In setup/desk/displays there is a setting that determines if the palette should be displayed by number or by label. Regardless of this setting, holding down the label key will toggle the display to the alternate view.
setup/desk/displays does not appear to have any pallet settings. It contains high contrast displays, show reverence labels, group chans by 5, dirsel dbl clk, user id, 100 channel display, cmd line on psd and psd time countdown.
Holding down the label key only changes the view of my movers. The scrollers remain showing F3 G385, etc.
Yes, it is "show ref labels (enable or disable). This is about your referenced data (palettes or presets). Scrollers set directly to a frame will display the frame number and the Gel number. This is one of the ways that you know you are looking at absolute data versus referenced data.
So in a nutshell without creating those pallets as explained earlier number is what shows and color can't. I just have a hard time remembering gel numbers. No big deal. :-)
