irfr and iPad/iPhone

If both devices are registed to the same Apple user, you shouldn't have to buy it twice. It can be a bit cryptic, you do indeed click the "Buy" button. I think that if you sync with a computer, it will install it automatically on all devices, but I might be wrong (I don't have enough Apple devices to say for sure!).

If you have itunes set to automatically install newly purchased apps it will install automatically after both devices are synced.  In iOS 5 they've replaced that confusing "buy" button, with an "install" button on apps you've already paid for.
