I know i've done something wrong in my first show on my ION. I thought scrollers automatically set to their desired color for the following cue so as to not have to set them one cue early. I have them first appearing in cue 2 as *** amber. Cue 2 is a 5 second fade up. Because *** amber is only 2 frames from the first frame - clear - and follows a yellow frame the 5 second fade was able to roll it to the desired color while cue 2 was loading and I didn't see it at first. Tonight I saw the transition from yellow to amber as the cue started coming up. I then went out to the rig and watched the cues transition and I saw the scroller slowly rolling through the 5 second transition.
For now i fixed it by inserting the scrollers into cue 1.5 to set them.
So my question is what might i have done wrong that didn't cause them to auto set in cue 1.5? I also noticed two other cues later in the show that only have 1 scroller at a color and they also both rolled to the color when the cue came up. I also set them in the cue prior.
BTW they are patched as a part 2 to each of the channels who hold them.
