half my movers have dementia!

A few days ago, starting up my Ion, I noticed that my VL 1000 TIDs were not at their proper home.  Most of their parameters are default from the library, except for pan, which I have a home preset for.  Their greyed out placement, on start up, made them appear to be some sort of fixture with CMY at 100, iris closed, etc, and they ignored the pan home preset.  Sneaking them and homing them a few times made them go to their real home, but home was a manual value; it was only after running them on an IM submaster that they remembered what they were.  I've only had time to load in a show from before this started happening - but they're doing the same thing.  When I get a chance, my next steps will be to unpatch and repatch them, and if that doesn't work, reload the software (I think i have the latest - version 1.9.6.9.0.3) and if that doesn't work I'm officially flummuxed.  I've made no changes to the patch and my other movers are behaving properly, so I have no idea where this is coming from.  Anyone else had this happen before?  If so, what caused it, and how did you fix it?  Thanks in advance!

  •   Nope - nothing imported.  I light in a concert hall where I'm pretty much busking all the time, so show files are almost pile on - things get moved around, some specials patched or unpatched, and I try to carry forward any effects, presets, etc that could be useful for another one off show coming up.  Things were just chugging along as normal, and this started completely out of the blue.  Thanks for the suggestion though - good to know!
