1.9.8 question

Hi. Here is a question. I am running 1.9.8 and when I load a cue into the fader [cue 500 enter] then [load] it shows live on screen LIVE CUE 500 when in fact im not in 500.  When I press live or clear I cant get it to return to the cue that is actually live. Its not so much a problem but if the LD has a RVI he feels you are in cue 500. In version 1.9.6 I do the same thing and when I hit [live] it returns to the live on stage cue. Am I missing something?

Thanks for your time

  • Chris,

If I am understanding you correctly, you are seeing the LIVE: Cue 500: in gold on the command line.  This is letting you know that any changes like: Labeling, changing cue timing, follows, delay, hang etc. will occur to this cue and you don't need to type in cue 500 [Time] ....  you can just hit [time] and be editing that cue.

In regards to [Load]ing a cue, you are only preparing the playlist so that the next press of [Go] will run this cue (500).

    Hope this answers your question,

  • Hey Seth thanks for the reply. While your answer is correct I guess my question is why on my board running 1.9.6 can I hit live or clear to return to the active cue and retain the loaded cue for my next GO push and in 1.9.8 I cant? If I make changes to a level while my command line says Live: Cue 500 will it change my active cue or my loaded cue? I feel its confusing but maybe its me.

    Thanks again.
