More ion wierdness

We are renting an Ion .. . and the rental unit greets me with a DOS screen message of

Any ideas?  if I do nothing it seems to keep doing nothing . . if I hit <ESC> on the keyboard it boots up . . but I find it a little troubling that this is happening . . it's not our console .. our console just boots up (usually)
