I regularly use a Macro that selectively records focus and beam information into a preset:
[Enter][Select Last][Focus][Beam][Record Only][Preset]
after which I enter the number of the preset I wish to record or update.
I can't figure out how to create this Macro on the Gio. I tried in Live and in the Macro Editor, but without luck. In the Macro Editor, I found a button for Color that worked, but no button for Beam. There is a button for Focus, but pressing it posted some odd result to the editor that had nothing to do with the Focus category.
Am I missing something obvious here?
My workaround was to create some snapshots using filters and recall the snapshot in the macro. This method works, but I have to remember to turn off the filters after using the macro.
Yes, I realize I could create the macro on another console, or import the macro from one of my other show files, but it shouldn't have to jump through those hoops, should I?
