Disable 'recall from'

Can I disable the "recall from" command?

Somehow (and I don't know how) I have inadvertently hit it and the next keystroke has been either the @0 or the @Fl presets, plunging the set into darkness or bringing every freaking light up to full.

I may just remove the key from the console but I thought I would ask before I do that. Its not a key that gets a lot of use in my world. Most of my tv and film sets are all conventional, I'm sure it is much useful with movers.

Thanks,

Jim

  • Don't know about disabling it.

I use Recall From w/ my conventionals from set base cues, or a cue the Gaffer references that we previously shot on my movie & TV sets every day & LOVE it!

ie., "Take the Exterior to where it was 2 shots ago."   [Group] [xx] [Recall From] [Cue] [x] [Enter]

Since I can't sneak that command I have Inhibit Subs for those large ampacity loads, like the Exteriors.

That way I can burn only what is needed for camera from the normal cue.

I'm most concerned with not accidentally causing my stage to [Rem Dim] [Out]. Haven't done it, just aware.

Just gotta check our command line before termination.
