I'm in a situation where, due to a combination of circumstances, I don't have the Lightwright file for a show, so I just need to go ahead and patch it manually from the paperwork instead of importing from LW. However, one of my favorite parts about LW importing is that I get my color/position/type data into the console, which I can then query really easily - and typing this all in manually is just too time-consuming.
Is there a way that I can import the "patch" from LW without actually bringing in any patching data? If I deleted all my Dimmer values in LW, then exported a patch file and imported that into an already-patched show, would it insert the database stuff and leave the patch alone, or would it overwrite my patch with blank dimmers for every channel?
