Only one monitor working

The other night i had to move our ION console and when i went to set it back up, only one monitor was working. i traded cables with the monitors and then the other monitor started to work while the other one stopped working. so thinking that it was the cable, i hooked up a VGA cable because that was all that was lying around and when i restarted the board, the ETC logo came up on both monitors, but that was it, i didnt get my channel controls up or my cue list.

  • Another thing to try if the shell isn't the problem is if using the DVI output splitter, that it is in the right way round. I remember once managing to plug it in upside down and one monitor still managed to work! Although I still had to go into the shell to enable it after flipping the connection around.
