Feels like it should be simple...

It's Panto time again...

I have 4 Mac 301s and 4 Mac 700 profiles in my rig, and I need to build an effect (a step chase really)  that has some in green and some in blue in step 1, then a different variation in step 2, and a 3rd step which is different again. My colour pallettes are there, and I dont really want any other attributes like position or focus as the set's not finished yet!  I don't use the eos too often, but I feel like I should be able to do this quite easily. Am I missing something simple? Or am I just simple?

  • I think that an absolute effect would accomplish what you are trying to do.  Absolute effects are a list of sequential steps that the channels should follow and therefore define a progressive behavior from one action to another.  The absolute effect can be built using your color palettes in the level field.  You can create the effect by typing a new effect number in effects list and choosing absolute as the type.  Like relative effects, this effect can then be applied to your channels in a cue or submaster.
