Don't know if anyone else had issues with Ion console covers. I did not like the 'weak' magnets sewn in so I used some epoxy and attached neodymium magnets on top of the outside. Now the covers stick quite nicely and stay in place.

I always want my monitors covered as well as the console. I have an Ion w/ a 2x20 fader wing and 2x elo 1928L touchmonitors on a visidec stand. The elo's are set up so the screens are just above and touching the desk & wing, one over each, kinda like a Gio & Eos. The stock stands made the monitors too far from a comfortable reach.
I bought an ETC Eos cover(approx. $125) and it fits my Ion so well, I couldn't be happier. I had previously spent half that purchasing a cut of material, hired a craftsperson to sew it up, but in speaking with ETC employees I decided it might not be static safe, Not worth the chance I feel, so the Eos cover it is!
