Ext Links

Hi there,

Ext Links are External Links from a cue and can be many different things.

• If you have an Effect recorded into a cue you will see the effect number displayed in the Ext Links column for that cue.
• If you are triggering another cue in a different list you will see this appear in the Ext Links column - so for example using Cue List 1-Cue 1 to trigger Cue List 2-Cue 5 you would see 'Q 2/5' in the Ext Links column of List 1 Cue 1.
• If you are triggering Relay closures from a cue list these will be placed in the Ext Links column.
• If you are firing a Macro from a cue this will also be displayed here

There are a few examples. Do you have anything specific in mind, or were you just wondering what the column is for?

there is a mess due to someone assign ext links.

worse, no one know how to disable or delete that. 

and can't find in manual or video tutorial.

If you can let us know what the external links are we can help you remove them. Depending on the type of link there could be different ways of removing it.

What does the text in the Ext Links column read?

I find the synax to disable: Cue X execute Enter

cause I can not find "ext links" softkey.

in fact, it should press "execute". why don't call "ext links" as "execute"?

That's maybe more easy to understand.

... because "execute" is only one of many different external links that are possible.

Speaking of External Links, I have a show that was originally programmed in a very early version of the Ion software.  We repeat this show annually, but after upgrading the software, the External Links no longer show up.  They are still there, and still work.  I just cant see them in the column. Any ideas?

Have you tried to zoom the display out by putting focus on the PSD and using [Format] & LevelWheel?
