Capture Enable and Disable

Should one be able to write a Macro using Enable and Disable with Capture?

When you double tap capture, it posts Capture Enable to the command line, but if I write a Macro that says Capture Enable or Capture Disable, it doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong?

I successfully wrote a Capture macro, in the editor on both 1.9.6 & 1.9.8. It fires with direct selects, as well as, keyed entry.

[Capture] [Capture] [ Enter].

Hi Gern,

Thanks for the reply. The problem with [Capture] [Capture] is that it is just a toggle state. So if capture is already on, it will turn it off and visa versa. I was hoping that Enable and Disable could be used to ensure that capture is in a specific state.

Bumping this because I just tried to do the same thing and found the same behavior still around in 2.6.1.

There are a number of other issues with macro syntax which are similarly wonky and counter-intuitive--is this something that's on the plate for attention?
