v1.9.8 issues

Firstly, apologies if this post is duplicating anything else in the forum - couldn't see anything along similar lines but may have missed it if it exists - please do feel free to merge this thread with others if appropriate.

Updated all our desks to 1.9.8 today, and two of the Ions (but, oddly, not the third) are now displaying some rather odd behaviour during boot-up. The two 'problem children' have now decided that, early on in the boot process (immediately after the ETC BIOS splash screen, before any software begins to load), the Intel Boot Agent needs to stop for a while and look for a DHCP server to assign an IP address. The screen displays the Intel (R) Boot Agent GE v1.2.60 header and copyright info, the MAC address of the console, and the text "DHCP..." followed by a little spinning bar while it, presumably, looks for a DHCP server. If left to its own devices it gives up after a minute or so and continues to boot - or I can press the escape key to force it to continue. The console then continues to boot normally. The third Ion, along with the two Eos and two RVIs, don't exhibit this unusual behaviour and boot up exactly as they used to pre-update.

I've looked at the Boot Agent settings (Ctrl-S when prompted during boot), and nothing on the two misbehaving consoles is in any way different to the other Ion. How can I stop them looking for a DHCP server during boot? (There is no DHCP server in our system - everything has a static IP address.)

An unrelated point - the legends for the 12 physical softkeys below the CIA on the Eos (Intensity / Focus / Colour / Beam ... Make Man / Make Abs / Flash / Address / Offset, and so on) now also appear below the CIA on Ion and RVI too, even though this display is on an external monitor in those situations and there are therefore no physical softkeys for them to relate to. This never used to be the case with 1.9.6 - can I stop it from happening with 1.9.8?

More to follow once I've had a chance to fiddle with the new software a bit more ...
