I have an Artnet DMX node and I am hoping to purchase the EOS Family Client Software to control it with my PC. Does the software output Artnet over Net3 or do I need to have an actual console to enable that protocol?

Hi Mike,
Eos Family Client Software does not output on its own. It connects with an Eos Family console, and allows
remote control via that console.
Thanks, Corey.
I'll be programming this show on a rented ION and it will be running for about a year. Is there any way I can buy the Eos Family Client Software and an ETC Gateway to run the show without needing a console connected to the network for the whole year?
Thanks!
Mike
Hi Mike,
Eos Client software only works connected to a
console - Eos, Ion, Gio, Element- or on an RPU - 19" Rack Mountable
Remote Prosessor Unit.
Client Software is not a Stand-Alone Control
Unit.
The 19" Rack Mount RPU might be an option
for you?
Thanks, Corey.
I didn't realize there was a Rack Mount RPU option-- that would be perfect!
We just don't have the space or necessity for an actual faceplate.
Thanks again.
Mike
Hey Corey,
Do you have any idea about how much an ION RPU would cost me (the 2k version)?
I can't seem to find pricing anywhere.
Thanks!

What is the problem with getting it connected with the console ?
I believe he wants to do the initial program on the console, then transfer to an RPC for the run, saving a console rental cost.
Hi Mike - please contact your local dealer or rental company for pricing.
