I have a show coming up where the rig has a row of Color Kinetics ColorBlast 12 LED fixtures, which are three 3 dmx channels, each controlling RGB.
I am setting up the Ion so I can busk live, and i'm trying to set all my subs to only control intensity parameters, giving me the ability so set positions colours beams etc.. with the movers and LED's in b/o and then fade it in as required.
I have setup the subs for the ColorBlast's exactly how i have done for the movers and other LED's in the rig, but every time i fade in the unit, it drops the colour information I have setup whilst the unit is off and goes to open white.
I assume this is to do with the fact the unit doesn't have a seperate intensity dmx channel. The unit works fine letting me set colours and then fade that in if I use the intensity wheel, but I would love to control it on the subs as I do with everything else in the rig
