Select Last... again and again and again...

I really do like the SelectLast function but still it’s a little bit annoying to used it as often as you’re forced to by the fact that the actual channel selection is getting lost all the time. For example, I‘m switching between live and blind or going to another cue in blind, there are no channels selected any longer. Maybe other users like it that way but I`d prefer if the channels stay selected in that case.

What`s about you other`s? What do you think?

  • I agree also,

the SelectLast is the most used button on my system, and i really hate it.

  • Two thoughts here.  Channel selection is "lost" when recording or updating, because if we didn't do this, since the desk supports selective storing, you'd end up with a selective store/update unless you hit clear first.  And that would be deeply irritating.  You will notice that if you do any manual control function immediately following a store/update, as long as that command is still on the command line, it will automatically reselect your channel selection set.

Regarding switching between live/blind - we do have an SCR in that if you command line is complete, it will be maintained when you switch back to that mode.  Therefore, if in blind, you had set channels to a level (for example) go to live and then back to blind, your command line will be intact.  Therefore you will be able to press [at] or engage the encoders to reselect your previous channels.

    Hope that helps.
