Eos family client network?

Hi,

I'm running an ION in the control room, and want to get the detailed cue list display (like the one I see on my screen) down to the stage manager's position for a show next month. Could this possibly be done by connecting laptop running the eos family offline software in client mode? I've had a quick play and couldn't get it to work - likely due to the settings in network. (I hate networking...) I'm successfully running iRFR off the network, but can't get my mac to connect.

Thanks in advance!

Luke

  • The client will work in mirror mode without a dongle, but it will only mirror the primary device.

If you have a RPU as the primary and you want to mirror the displays from the console that the programmer is using, as we do in technical rehearsals, then you need to have the dongle to be able to mirror the backup console.

For simply seeing the playback cue list, mirroring from the primary device should be okay- so in that case the dongle shouldn't be needed.

  • I have an issue where my client and console will not sync.  Console is primary and laptop is client.  Both are running the same version, but when I try to get my client to connect, it fails because the languages don't match.  Even though my Console says "English United States" and laptop says "English".

    What might the issue be?
