Eos family client network?

I run a monitor to my stage manager with a slightly different method.

I have use one DVI out and the VGA out.  The VGA goes to a video splitter- one line to my desk, one to my stage manager.  You may have to swap the screens.

If you can run a cable to your stage manager.

Also, I'm sure you know this, but in order to make the Eos Client work on your laptop you need to get a dongle from ETC.

the dongle from ETC is not a "must have", the client can work in" mirror mode" and you can show the playback.

we work with a VGA-Network-Adapter. we have a long way to the stage manager and the display-quality is better with network.

The client will work in mirror mode without a dongle, but it will only mirror the primary device.

If you have a RPU as the primary and you want to mirror the displays from the console that the programmer is using, as we do in technical rehearsals, then you need to have the dongle to be able to mirror the backup console.

For simply seeing the playback cue list, mirroring from the primary device should be okay- so in that case the dongle shouldn't be needed.

I have an issue where my client and console will not sync.  Console is primary and laptop is client.  Both are running the same version, but when I try to get my client to connect, it fails because the languages don't match.  Even though my Console says "English United States" and laptop says "English".

What might the issue be?
