display format in snapshots and macros

Is there anyway to force the display into a certain format (tombstone vs. column view) when recording a snapshot or a macro? There are some channels I prefer to view in tombstone, and some i prefer to view in column.

I'd love to be able to create a macro that selects the channels and loads a snapshot of my preferred viewing method...

I can certainly get the macro to change the format, but it only toggles between the two... I'm guessing this means its a just a toggle state and I can't force it to the state i want.

thank you!

Followup question:  Snapshot doesn't seem to be recalling my flexi state correctly- as i change shapshots flexi will change between it's various states...(this is in relation to Andrew Riter's post)

Also... I'm assuming (based on experience) that a snapshot will not correctly recall a flexi/view channels stage with specific channels... i.e. i want

    snapshot 1: tombstone flexi/view channels 1-200
    snapshot 2: column flexi/view channels 191-200

i've macro-d around this... but if a snapshot is supposed to be capture my current view, and i'm in a flexi/view channels view, it seems like snapshot should include this info...
