Ion lags as client

That sounds like issues I was recently having...

I execute my 2/ list shortly after intermission(attached to list 1/), It is for a video trigger and only affects one channel.  For 2 or 3 shows, it would not change values (although the move was in my list, and I had not made any changes to my program since a successful run of shows).

I tried reloading the show to no avail, and after playing around some more as reloading my last successful show serveral times.  After a few tries it started working again,  This is my first show at this venue, and I was told to operate as client 1 my first day (backing up to server).  Around the time of my problems, I found out I should actually be running the ion as a backup.

Haven't had any problems since....Perhaps the "client" is locking out some info and/or a weird software glitch? I see you have rpus as your master/backups, I would try running your Ion as the backup and see what happens (assuming you don't have multiple clients).

I have been scratching my head over this one for the past few weeks, and after reading your post it all is starting to come together.  Very curious to see if my theory is correct.

Yea... this is a new install... the general consensus from all the ETC techs on site that this is an issue operating as client... but in our situation our Eos's are RPU (rack mount), so the only way to program is through the Ion as client.
