I'm betting this has been documented, but there is an issue (1.9.9 at least) with how the console treats hue fades.
When fading hue (hue only, saturation, saturation at 100), less than 122 degrees, it fades smoothly
When fading hue greater than 120 degrees:
a) The fade gets jagged, and does not move smoothly between colors- the saturation dips in and out a bit.
b) Hue forces a linear saturation fade across white. i.e. Hue 0 to Hue 180 fades across white
c) Hue fade 0 to 360 does nothing
I would imagine these are issues related to hue attempting to find the shortest path, but shortest path doesn't really make sense in regards to hue to me...
As far as i know Hue, as a concept, is not self aware... so fading (not snapping) between hue values, should always result in a linear fade... yes hue 0 and hue 360 are the same color, but if i fade from 0 to 360, the light should cycle through a rainbow...
This problem exists regardless of being in a cue stack or in an absolute effect... so i would imagine its an issue with how the console as a whole thinks about hue...
Thoughts?
Thank you!
