I have an RFR base station running off of an Ion system, currently connected via USB. I do have have a Net3 network, but without POE.
Is it possible to run the RFR base station from a different location in the space using the Net3 network and a standard USB power adapter? The documentation I have only discusses using a network with POE or a direct USB connection to the console. Is the base station not designed to take power from the USB port while accepting data from the ethernet port?
I'd simply like the option of moving the base station outside of the booth to reduce signal loss.
