Migrating a show form Eos to Element

  Gareth, you will not lose any of your cues as long as you limit to one Cue list. you will however lose cue based color timing and discreet timing. There also are no presets on element. But judging by your post the biggest hurdle for you is that with the acceptation of palettes at the bottom of ML controls there are no Direct Selects on Element.

Hmm, so I wouldn't be able to open a tab of direct selects and populate them with groups? I think I'll be taking an Ion.

I haven't got much in the way of discrete timing or colour times in the show so I could live without those by splitting stuff out into parts - but no direct selects is a deal-breaker. Didn't realise the Element was quite so 'crippled' in comparison to Eos/Ion.

You Still get the direct selects but you cannot have presets on them.

You still get groups and palettes.

If you have just got a small number of times which you need to change then it will be fine to run on a Element.

Hmm. So Lowell says "with the acceptation (sic) of palettes at the bottom of ML controls there are no Direct Selects on Element", while Tom says "You Still get the direct selects". So which is it? Can I have a touchscreen full of lovely direct selects on an Element, or not?

Sorry i should have read the bottom of Lowell post better and I that is what I meant by direct sorry for the confusion.
