Ion Remote Trigger

Hello,

I am interested in utilizing the Ion remote trigger input connector to create a Cue Light system controlled by SM.

Basically a latching button in an external housing will trigger a submaster.

My question is does the Ion and the rest of the line respond to a momentary trigger, or if I make a latching contact, will the sub remain activated as long as the switch is closed?

The trigger is an "output" from the Ion, what you want is the contact closure inputs, I believe. The Ion has 4 inputs, but with an I/O Gateway, you could have an additional 24 inputs.

The input switch will do the same action as the sub bump button - so if the sub has a time of 0/Manual/0, this will work.
