URGENT HELP ME PLEASE!

HI

MY ION CONSOLE DOENST STARTS ANYMORE...I HAVE BEEN  WORKING WITH MY ION CONSOLE FOR A WHILE, BUT COUPLE OF DAYS AGO WHEN I PUSH THE POWER BUTTON, IT TURNS ON THEN THE ETC LOGO APPEARS THEN IT SEENS TO BE GOING WELL BUT STOPS ON THE "ION" LOGO...NO OPTIONS LIKE "PRIMARY" OR "SETTINGS" ARE AVAILABLE ...IT JUST KEEPS ON THE 'ION" SCREEN LOGO! I CANT DO ANYTHING....I HAVE WAITED FOR 1 HOUR OR MORE AND TRYING TO REBOOT ..BUT KEEPS THE SAME WAY...

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?

  • Since you are in Brazil, I would try to find the number to the local dealer (who sold you the console ?) who might be able to help, or call overseas to the ETC tech support number - 1 800 688 4116, which has a 24 hr. service system.  

    I would also try turning off the master power switch on the back of the console, below the power plug-in cable.  This turns off all power to peripherals as well as does a hard shutdown.  Wait 2-3 minutes then do a power up.  On rare occasions I have had a freeze during boot and only get the ETC splash screen.  As per any Windows based computer, I simply hold down the power button (above the blackout key) until the console re-boots.  On the 4-5 occasions in 2-1/2 years, that has worked.

    If this does not restore, then possible a bad hard drive.
