Fixture Profile,Cuelist and Fader Page questions

A couple of questions about the EOS platform.  I apologize if these are RTFM questions, or were covered before, but I didn't find anything while searching.

First - is there any way to export or import fixture types from show to show?  I have custom profiles for the VL3k line that have full timing channel support, as well as a few other tweaks.  I'd like to be able to export them into another show, instead of merging that whole other show into mine.

Second - is there a way to lock the cuelist window to display only a particular cuelist?  I often have full cues on the main list, while other things I want to to pile on top of them are in other short cuelists on faders.  It's a pain when my main cuelist disappears.

Along the same lines, is it possible to lock "go to cue" commands to the main list when no list is specified?  To deal with this, I currently have one button on my X-Keys set to prompt "Go to cue 1/ ".

Third, is there a way to copy or move a fader page?  I know that it is possible to copy subs, but my fader pages often have cuelists loaded as well.

Thanks folks - hope you all have a good weekend.

  • OK...my take on a couple of those questions...

Moving a Fixture I tend to move the fixture to a high channel say 1001 delete all the other channels, save and merge the patch, that will bring the fixture over. I think patch merge is being fixed.

Although i have noticed there is a merge fixture option in merge and that works like a treat.

I only use the move the channel to merge in the beam palletts and other references.

Keeping the cue list LOCKED is as easy as clicking on the little padlock icon at the top od the cue stack (top Left of teh screen)

thats the bits i can help with....
