Effects on SUBS

Hi Everyone

An intersting problem:-

 

I have LXQ 100 which amongst other things, triggers and colour effect on my wash lights (leds, etc.) I have also assigned an OPEN WHITE colour pallette to a submaster so that I can bump to white on the beats as I need to. Problem is - this stops the effect! 

How do I get to use the bump to white function and then when I let the bump button go, the effect should still be running?

Is there a way to solve this - I think I have tried most things

  • Make sure the only info in the sub is intensity and color. Nothing else should have value. Example if pan says 150 you need to get rid of that by selecting channel-pan-@enter. That will clear it out.

  • I have just had a play with this in Blind, If I make the CUE LIST INDEPENDANT and BACKGROUND DISABLE, which I press the bump the effect doesn't Stop. In all other messing about the effect stops on the bump of the sub. This looks like it works in blind, My sub is referencing a colour platte and they text O/W is displayed on bump. If i look at data the effect on the cue looks like it still running and the values are yellow so it may not have worked, but the bump has not stopped the effect. Which is something I guess. Will have a go at this after the matinee with a rig at the end of it.
