Combine Effects and searching a key

HI
i've got two problems

1st:
I want to combine 2 effects, a chaser and an focus effect.
Chaser is just running in my moving lights from left to right.
The effect is only on tilt, so they move up and down, like a wave.
But, i want the ML to be at full while it is "looking" down and slowly sneak its intensity(zo 0) when its moving up.

I Hope you understood my explanation.
Any Idea?

2nd:
Once upon a time, i found a key which i don't remember anymore ;)
All it has to do is remove my manual values. I want the red values to be gone. On stage the should still be there, but not marked red in the console anymore.
So a function rather similair to "make null".

Thanks!

Lukas

  • Thanks a lot for your replies!

Sneak is not they key that i'am seraching for. They Key, or combination of that keys just removed red and painted the values different. I'll try what you suggested.

Jons answer sounds good, i'll also try it.
I've seen that effect a lot of times, but have never been able to rebuild it.
I'm using Ion/Eos for live concerts, too, so sometimes its a litte detour to get them do what i want or need. ;-)

Edit: Haaa, it works properly! I'm smiling like a child at x-mas morning
The only thing they still do as i don't want them to is, they dim into their intensity when they are at the beginning of the effect. But ok, i can work with it .
What i now have in the absolut effect is

    PR1 down 100% time 2
    PR2 up           0% time 2
    PR3 down      0% time 0

  • To stop the dimming at the beginning of the effect I believe all you need to do is change the entry time.  It defaults to cue/sub timing- if you make it a time of 0 it should snap in.

  • For an absolut effect, there is no entry time, is it?!
I have now done another step, with time and intensity 0. That works properly.
