Hey everyone,
I was wondering if a Net2 video node is compatible with ion.
Like, what functionality will I be able to get with the node when it's on the same network as ion? Anything?
Thanks!

The Net2 Video node is not compatible with the Ion console, and wouldn't do much for you in this situation.
To get video signal from the Ion console on a different device, you can use another Eos Family console, Net3 RVI (Remote Video interface), a client PC, or client Mac. A PC or Mac will only run in mirror mode; you would need a client dongle to be able to interact with the system otherwise.
In terms of other Net2 nodes -- DMX nodes are compatible, as the Ion can transmit EDMX data. Note that this is only for DMX, and not for the RFU or ETCLink connections that are on some varieties of nodes.
